Afternoon arrival at the Cairo Airport, and transfer to the  hotel.

This morning we explore the ancient treasures of Egypt in the Egyptian Museum.
After lunch we tour  Old Cairo with its rich history.   (Bed and Breakfast)

Today we tour the Sphinx, ^{the Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure.} and ^{the temples that make up the complex.}
Next we tour We explore Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt and continue to the Saqqara Necropolis. Here we explore
the first pyramid, built in Egypt. We board the sleeper train to Aswan  (Breakfast and dinner)

DAY 4 ABU-SIMBEL/ASWAN

We arrive in  Aswan and check into the hotel.  There is an optional tour of Abu-Simbel the colossal Rock
Temples of the Pharaoh Ramesses the Great.  This afternoon we tour ^{high dam,  the granite quarries and  the beautiful
Temple of  Philae.} Return to the hotel.   (Bed and Breakfast)

Today we drive to Luxor. On the way we tour the Temple of Kom-Ombo, and Edfu.  Check into the hotel  (Bed and breakfast)

We travel to the West Bank, and tour the Colossi of Memnon, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Valley of the Kings.
We then tour the Temples of Karnak and Luxor.  ^{Late afternoon we board the sleeper train to Cairo.
Breakfast and Dinner.}

We arrive in  Cairo where we check into the hotel .  This afternoon we tour Khan-El-Khalili Bazaar.
It is great for last minute shopping. Return to the hotel. Bed and Breakfast.

DAY 8 CAIRO/JFK

We transfer to the Cairo Airport for our flight to JFK. (B)
