Day 1 - Cairo - We arrive in the afternoon at the Cairo Airport and we transfer to the Oasis Hotel. (Dinner).

Day 2 - Cairo - We explore the Egyptian Museum with its treasures from ancient Egypt. Gaze at the riches of King Tut, visit the extraordinary Mummy Room. Take your time we are never in a hurry.

Later we visit old Cairo with its rich history dating back thousands of years. In late afternoon we visit Khan El Khalili Bazaar the oldest bazaar in Egypt and great for bargain hunting. Return to the hotel. Bed and Breakfast.

Day 3 - Cairo - We tour the Sphinx, pyramids of Khufu, Kharre and Menkaure and the temples that make up the complex. You may wish to take an optional tour of the inside of the Great Pyramid. We visit the museum of the Solar Boat only discovered in 1956.

After lunch, we explore Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt. We continue on to the Saqqara Necropolis to view the first pyramid built in Egypt. Next we tour the Pyramids of Dashur, the first true pyramids built in Egypt. They hold the secret to building the Great Pyramid. B&B.

Day 4 - Aswan Transfer to the airport for our flight to Aswan. We connect with our flight to Abu Simbel to tour the Temples of Ramessess the Great. These temples must be seen to be appreciated. Fly back to Awan and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the late afternoon and evening are free. B&B.

Day 5 -ASWAN Today we will tour the beautiful Temple of Philae, the High Dam and the Obelisk quarries to see how the obelisks of Egypt were made. Later we will sail around Elephantine Island by felucca (typical Nile Sailboat) to view the Gardens of Kitchner Island and the masoleum of the Aga Khan. Return to the hotel. The evening is free. B&B.

Day 6 - Luxor - We drive to Luxor. On the way we tour Kom Ombo temple and the best preserved temple in Egypt, Edfu. Both are fine examplels of New Kingdom architecture. We arrive in Luxor and check into the Mercure Hotel. The evening is free to explore Luxor. B&B.

Day 7 - Luxor Today we travel to the West Bank and tour the Colossi of Memnon, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the tombs of Valley of the Kings. Later we tour the Valley of the Queens. Of special interest is the magnificent Tomb of Queen Nefertari. An optional tour of the tomb is available, if it is open. Return to the hotel. The evening is free. We can make suggestions. B&B.

Day 8 - Luxor - After breakfast we explore the great Temple of Karnak. Later we tour the Temple of Luxor. We transfer to the airport for our flight to Sharm El Shiek. We are met and transfer to the hotel resort. Enjoy the beach or other activities of the resort. Return to the hotel. B&B.

Day 9 - Sharm El Shiek - Free day to enjoy this fabulous resort by the Red Sea. Return to the hotel. B&B.

Day 10 - Saint Catherine's Monastery We drive to Saint Catherine's Monastery and check into the Morgen Lake Village Hotel. Built at the foot of Mount Sinai, the monastery contains priceless works of art and the second largest collection of illustrated manuscripts in the world. With its' rich history, St. Catherine's Monastery is referred to as the undiscovered jewel of travel. B&B

Day 11 -Mt.Sinai For those who wish there is a climb of Mount Sinai, by camel or donkey, in the very early morning. This is the site where Moses received the stone tablets with the ten commandments. We return and tour Saint Catherine's Monastery. When you are finished we drive across the Sinai to Cairo and check into our hotel. B&B.

Day 12 - This morning we transfer to the airport for our flight home. B.
