Day 1 - Arrive Cairo. We are met by our guides and transfer to the three Pyramids Hotel. The evening is free. Dinner.
 
Day 2 - After breakfast we tour the Egyptian Museum. Wonder at the treasures of ancient Egypt. Gaze at the treasures of King Tutankamen. See the pharaohs of the 18th and 19th Dynasties in the Mummy Room and more.

  • After lunch we tour the Sphinx and the temples that make up the complex.  Next we tour the Pyramids of Khufu,
  • Khafre, and Menkaure which are over 4,300 years old. Return to the hotel. The evening is free.

Day 3 - We check out of the hotel and travel to Mers Matrouh. On the way we visit the Cemeteries of
World War 11. After lunch we drive to Mersa Matrouh. The evening is free. You might take a swim. B, L&D

Day 4 - After breakfast we visit Romell’s Cave where the "Desert Fox" planned his campaigns. It is now a military
museum. We continue to the Siwa Oasis. Siwa is the westernmost of the five major oases of Egypt. We visit the Siwa
heritage  Museum. Return to the hotel for dinner. B, L&D

Day 5- After breakfast we visit Gabal El Mawta ( The Mountain Of The Dead) We tour the Temple of Amun,
and Cleopatra’s Water Well. After lunch, we tour the oasis and return to our hotel for dinner. B, L&D
 
Day 6- We leave the hotel early and drive to Baharia Oasis, known for the discovery of the Greco Roman Mummies.
After lunch we tour the oasis. Immerse ourselves in the hot water springs and relax. Next we tour the Heritage Museum,
and the Mummy Museum. If you wish you can climb the mountain to view a splendid sunset. Return to the hotel for dinner. B, L&D

Day 7 - Today we travel to the Farafrah Oasis. On the way we pass through the White Desert, a fabled landscape
of wind eroded rock.  We drive to the Farafrah Oasis for lunch. Little is known about this area. To the south is the
ancient caravan route, Darb Farafra. To the west is the great impenetrable Great Sand Sea, known in history for
one of the famous disaster of Western Desert, the disappearance of The Persian King Cambyses and his Army.
We tour the oasis and the Dadr Museum. We continue to Dakhla Oasis and check into our hotel. B, L&D

Day 8 - After breakfast we tour Deir El Hagar Temple, (Monastery Of Stone). It is the most preserved of the
Roman Temples in the Western Desert. Next we tour El Kasr Village, known for its pottery manufacturing. After
lunch we visit the Tombs Of El Mezawaka, the Dakhla, and El Kharab Village. Return to the hotel. B, L&D

Day 9 - Today we travel to the beautiful Kharga Oasis On the way we will visit Bashendi Pheronic Village, and
Balat Village. Excellent prices can be found here on everything from textiles to carvings. We have lunch and continue
to Kharga Oasis where we check into our hotel for dinner. B, L&D
 
Day 10 - After breakfast we tour the Roman Ruins, the Pheronic Temple, and the El Kharga Museum We have
lunch and travel to Luxor. We arrive in Luxor and check into our hotel. B, L&D.

Day 11 - After a good night’s rest we explore the famed Temple of Karnak, by far the largest ancient temple
still standing.  Next we travel to the Temple of Luxor.  Both temples are among the finest examples of architecture
from the New Kingdom. Next we travel to the West Bank, where we see monuments from the New Kingdom.
We stop at the Colossi of Memnon.

Next we explore the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Valley of the Kings, and the Valley of the Queens. There is an optional
tour of Queen Nefertari’s tomb available, if the tomb is open. We board the sleeper train to Cairo. B&D
 
Day 12 - We arrive in Cairo and transfer to to the Cairo Airport for our flight home. B
