This morning we explore the ancient treasures of Egypt at the Egyptian Museum. Look at the golden riches from ancient Egypt. .
Later we tour Old Cairo with its history dating back thousands of years. We visit the hanging church, on the site, where the holy family is said to have lived while in Egypt.

Today we tour the mysterious Sphinx, the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with their many secrets and the other monuments that make up the Gaza complex.
For those who wish to enter the Great Pyramid an optional tour is available. We will visit the Museum of the Solar Boat For the daring a camel ride is available. Our visit ends with a breath taking desert view of the pyramids. Next, we tour Memphis the the ancient capital of Egypt and the Saqqara Necropolis. Here we explore the first pyramid built in Egypt, We explore the Tombs of the Nobles, the pyramid of Teti. Next we tour the Pyramids of Dashaur. These are the first true pyramids. Return to Cairo and board the sleeper train to Luxor. B&D.

Dam, to this day the widest dam in the world, and the gigantic Aswan
High Dam completed in 1970. then drive to see the famous, Obelisk
Quarry to see how the obelisks of Egypt were made. Next we tou The

This morning we fly to Luxor and check into the four stars Mercure Hotel. Today we travel to the West Bank, where we see monuments from the New Kingdom.
We tour the
Colossi of Memnon , the Temple of Hatshepsut, which has
hieroglyphs telling of the Queen’s magnificent reign. Next we explore
the Valley of the Kings and visit four of the best tombs.

Today we drive to Saint Catherine’s Monastery. With its large collection of illustrated manuscripts, history and beautiful setting it is often called the undiscovered jewel of travel. Check into the Morgenland Hotel. The evening is free. B&D.

For those who wish there is a very early wake up call to climb Mount Sinai by camel or donkey. However, once you reach the top there are still 700 stairs to climb. This is where Moses received the Ten Commandments. Return to the hotel and tour Saint Catherine's Monastery.

Today we take the ferry to Aqaba, Jordan, drive to Petra, Jordan and tour this magnificent site. Once a great commercial empire Petra was Lost to history, rediscovered in the 19th century and today is known as the location of the Indiana Jones Movie “The Last Crusade”.

We return to Aqaba, Jordan and take the ferry back to Taba, Egypt where we return to the Taba Hotel. The evening is free. B&B
