DAY 1 SAINT CATHERINE'S MONASTERY

We drive to Saint Catherine's Monastery and check into the Morgen Lake 
Village Hotel. Built at the foot of Mount Sinai, the monastery contains priceless works of art and the second  
largest collection of illustrated manuscripts in the world.  With its' rich history, St. Catherine's Monastery 
is referred to as the undiscovered jewel of travel. B&B

SAINT CATHERINE'S MONASTERY AND MOUNT SINAI   6TH CENTURY MONASTERY ON SUMMIT MT. SINAI

DAY 2 MT. SINAI

Today there is an optional climb of Mount Sinai, the site where Moses received the stone tablets with the ten
commandments written on them.. We return and tour Saint Catherine's Monastery. We drive to Taba on the
Red Sea and check into the Taba Hotel. B&B.

DAY 3 PETRA (Every Wednesday – with group)

07:15 AM: Drive to Taba Harbor.
08:00 AM: Sail by ship to Aqaba Harbor
09:15 AM: Arrive at the Royal Yacht Club in Aqaba
09:30 AM: Start drive to Petra
12:00 PM: Tour the historical city of Petra first established
sometime around the 6th Century BC. Petra was  inhabited
until the 13th Century AD. Today it is the major tourist attraction
in Jordan and it was the location of the lost city in the Indiana
Jones movie, "The Last Crusade".
15:00 PM: lunch at good hotel in Petra
16:00 PM: Drive back to Aqaba
18:00 PM: Arrive in Aqaba. Enjoy an hour of shopping or sightseeing.
19:30 PM: Arrive at the Royal Yacht Club in Aqaba and sail back to Taba
21:00 PM: Arrive in Taba harbor
21:30 PM: Arrive at the Star Taba  Hotel. B, L,& D

DAY 4 PETRA/CAIRO

Return to Cairo and check into the Oasis Hotel. The evening is free. You might enjoy the sound and light 
show at the Pyramids or a tour of Cairo nightlife. B&B

DAY 5 CAIRO?HOME

After breakfast we transfer to the airport for our flight home. B
