DAY 1: CAIRO

Upon Arrival Cairo international airport,  You'll be met by R.S. Horus Tours representative assisting you

with the Visa arrangement, baggage handling at the airport, transferring to your Hotel. The rest of the
day is free. You are in the heart of Cairo. Take a stroll and enjoy the friendly Egyptian Culture.

DAY 2 : CAIRO  

After breakfast; a short drive brings you to Giza. Here you marvel at the Pyramids, including Cheops,
one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Coming face-to-face with the Sphinx , who has been staring
into the desert for five-thousand years, is an awesome experience.

Then continue your tour to visit the Egyptian Museum. Gaze at the treasures of Tutankhamon and
other priceless artifacts. Return to the hotel. The evening is free. Bed and Breakfast.

DAY 3: CAIRO
After breakfast, we start on a full day tour of Jewish Fustat (Old Cairo). As we drive through Cairo’s
central commercial district we pass some of the Jewish-owned department stores. Most have kept
their original names and original buildings. Among the most important are: Cicurel and Chamla on
26th of July Street; Orosdi-Back (Omar Effendi) on same street; and Ades and Gattegno on Emad al
Dine Street. Our guide will point these out as we pass. Our site visits concentrate on Jewish history
and include the Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the ancient Bassatin Jewish Cemetery.
In the afternoon we visit the Ashkenazi Synagogue of Ataba Square, Hanan and the
Ishak  Pashad (Kreim) in Daher. Late afternoon return to the hotel.  B&B

DAY 4: ALEXANDRIA
After breakfast we transfer to our coach for the journey to Alexandria.
We check into our hotel and visit the contemporary Jewish Community of Alexandra & the
Eliahou Halevi Synagogue. Return to hotel. B&B

DAY 5: ALEXANDRIA

After breakfast, we visit the Catacombs of Kom es-Shouqafa. These tombs were tunneled into
the bedrock for a single wealthy family still practicing the ancient religion during the age of the
Antonine emperors (2nd century AD). As a privately financed project, it is an engineering feat
of some magnitude. Next we  visit the Greco-Roman Museum with its priceless collection of
artifacts.  We continue our tour to Pompey's Pillar, a 25m red Aswan granite column with a
constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletain, We return to the hotel. B&B.

DAY 6: CAIRO

After breakfast, We drive to Cairo. The afternoon is free. We can make suggestions. B&B.

DAY 7: DEPARTURE

After breakfast, you will be met at your hotel and transferred to the airport for your departure flight. B.
