DAY 1 Arrive in Cairo where we are met and transfer to the four stars Oasis hotel.

DAY 2 We drive to Saint Catherine's Monastery and check into the Morgen Lake Village Hotel. Built at the foot of Mt. Sinai, the monastery was constructed by Emperor Justinian between 527 AD and 565 AD. It contains priceless works of art and the second largest collection of illustrated manuscripts in the world. Arrangements can be made to visit the private library to view these priceless manuscripts. Because of its remote location, Saint Catherine's is referred to as the undiscovered jewel of travel. Return to our hotel (B&B)

SAINT CATHERINE'S MONASTERY AND MOUNT SINAI	SUNRISE ON THE SUMMIT OF MOUNT SINAI

DAY 3 For those who wish there is an optional climb of Mt. Sinai, by camel. You have an early wake up call in order to reach the summit by sunrise. The site is spectacular. This is where Moses received the ten commandments. Later we tour Saint Catherine's monastery. We drive to Neweabaa on the Red Sea, and take a ferry to Aquaba, Jordan. We drive to Wadi Rum, site of the movie "Lawrence of Arabia" Many consider it the most beautiful desert in the world. We take a two hours jeep tour of this remarkable place. Later we drive to Petra and check into the Taybet Zayem Hotel. (B&B)

DAY 4 Today we explore Petra. It was established sometime around the 6th Century BC and was a commercial empire that was inhabited until the 13th Century AD. Today it is the major tourist attraction in Jordan and it was the location of the lost city in the Indiana Jones movie, "The last Crusade". Return to the hotel. B.B

DAY 5 MADABA/ MT. NEBO/AMANN, JORDAN
This morning we drive to Amann Jordan. On the way we visit the Crusader's Castle at Kerak. It is a marvel of 13th century European Architecture. Next we tour the Mosaic Museum in Madaba. Here are found the most magnificent example of mosaic art style. Next we tour Mount Nebo where Moses was shown the promised land and died.. On a clear day you can see the rooftops of Jerusalem and Bethlehem. We continue to Amman and check into the five stars Crown Plaza Hotel. B.B

DAY 6 JERASH
Today we tour the city of Jerash, the best representation of the grandeur of imperial Rome, still in existence. The city was occupied from the Neolithic age until the abandonment of the city, at the end of the roman empire. It features many of the best preserved and largest number of roman buildings from the ancient world. To this day, its paved and colonnaded streets, soaring temples, theaters, spacious public squares and plazas, and gates remain in exceptional condition. The history of Jerash is a blend of the Greco-Roman and Arab world. In the afternoon we transfer to the Amann Airport for our flight home.B
