DAY 1 CAIRO
You arrive at the Cairo Airport. and transfer to the Oasis Hotel. Dinner

We tour the Sphinx, the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure and the temples that make up the complex.
After lunch, we explore Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt and continue to Saqqara, site of the first pyramid
built in Egypt. Return to the hotel. Bed and Breakfast.

We explore the ancient treasures of Egypt in the Egyptian Museum. Take your time we are never in a hurry.

After lunch we tour Khan-El- Khalili Bazaar, the oldest market in Egypt. You have never seen anything like this. Great bargains can be had for those willing to bargain with the shopkeepers. Return to the hotel. Bed and Breakfast

DAY 4 ALEXANDRIA

We travel to Alexandria and tour th e Greco-Roman Museum, Pillar of Pompeii,
the Roman Theater, the Turkish Fort, and the New Library which is a recreation
of the original Library destroyed in cc 50 BC. We return to Cairo and and board
the sleeper train to Luxor.  Breakfast and dinner.

DAY 5 LUXOR

Today we travel to the West Bank 7, where we see monuments from the New Kingdom. We tour the Colossi of Memnon 8 who was actually Amenhotep III. Next we explore the Temple of Hatshepsut 9, which has hieroglyphs telling of the Queen’s magnificent reign. Next we explore the Valley of the Kings 10 and visit four of the best tombs that are open. View the solid gold coffin that still holds the body of Tutankamem 11. After lunch we tour the Tombs of the Nobles 12, the Village of the Artisians, the Ramessium 13 and the tomb of Ramose 14 the, only tomb of its kind  Next we tour the Valley of the Queens. 15 Of special interest is the Tomb of Queen Nefertari.  An optional tour of the tomb is available, if the tomb is open. Return to the hotel. (B&B)

DAY 6 LUXOR
We explore the famed Temple of Karnak 16, by far the largest ancient temple still standing. Later, we tour the Temple of Luxor 17. Both temples are among the finest examples of architecture from the New Kingdom  Next we take a felluca ride (typical Nile Sailboat) for several hours. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Luxor. Stroll the bazaar directly behind your hotel. Visit the Luxor Museum 18 just down the street from your hotel. We board the sleeper train to Cairo. B&B

We arrive in Cairo are met and transfer to the Cairo airport for our flight home. B
