8 DAY TOUR OF ISRAEL

DAY 1   JFK/ISRAEL  

We arrive at Tel Aviv International airport are met and assisted through immigration.

We transfer to the Mercure Resort Hotel near the airport on the sea. The rest of the day is free to enjoy.

DAY 2   NAZARETH/CANA/TIBERIAS

Today we drive to and tour Nazareth. We visit the Annunciation Church, Mary’s well,

and the city itself. We drive to and tour Cana and visit the Baptismal site on the River

Jordan. We drive to Tiberias and check into the Mercure Tiberias Hotel.

Bed and breakfast.

DAY 3   SEA OF GALILEE/BIBLICAL SITES/TEL AVIV/JERUSALEM

After breakfast we enjoy a sail on the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum. We tour the

site and proceed to Tabgha, the Mount of Beatitudes, and Mount Tabor. We drive

to Hafia and tour the Stella Maris and Elijah’s Cave. Next we proceed to Tel Aviv and

Jaffa. We continue to Jerusalem and check into the Novotel Jerusalem

Hotel.  Bed and breakfast.

DAY 4   JERUSALEM/BETHLEHEM

We proceed to visit the Mount of Olives and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view over the Old City of Jerusalem.

Next we tour the Patter Naster Church, the Church of the Ascension, and Dominos Flevit Church. We then

proceed to visit the Garden of Gethsemane, and Mt. Zion to visit the Dormition Abbey, the upper room, King

David’s Tomb, and Saint Peter’s Church in Galicuntu. 

 Next we proceed to Bethlehem. We tour Bethlehem and visit the Nativity Church.  Return to the Novotel

Jerusalem Hotel. The evening is free. Bed and breakfast

DAY 5 JERICHO - MASADA - DEAD SEA 

We proceed to Jericho - We visit the Mount of Temptation and visit the Archeological site to view the

remnant of the Walls of Jericho. We proceed to visit Masada, the heroic stand of the Jewish people

against the Roman Army in 79 AD. We tour Masada, and then proceed to the Dead Sea to enjoy a

swim and relax. Return to the Novotel Jerusalem Hotel. Bed and breakfast

DAY 6 OLD JERUSALEM

After breakfast we proceed to the Old City of Jerusalem for a walking tour. We enter from the Dung Gate,

visit the Wailing Wall and tour the Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock. Next we proceed through the

Via Dolorosa and visit the 14 Stations of the Cross that end in the Holy Sepulcher Church. We return to the

Novotel Jerusalem Hotel. The evening is free. Bed and breakfast.

DAY 7 JERUSALEM/EIN KEREM/JERUSALEM

After breakfast we drive through West Jerusalem and stop at the tranquil city of Ein Kerem where we visit

Saint John the Baptist Church and the Visitation Church. We return to Jerusalem. The rest of the day is free

for you to enjoy the beauty of the city. You might do some last minute shopping in one of the many shopping

districts. Return to the Novotel Jerusalem Hotel. Bed and breakfast.

DAY 8 JERUSALEM/TEL AVIV AIRPORT

We transfer to the Tel Aviv Airport for our flight home. Bed and breakfast.
