DAY 1 - CAIRO
Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met by R.S. Horus Tours USA’s representative
in Egypt and transferred to your hotel. You are in the heart of Cairo. Take a walk

and introduce yourself to the friendly Egyptian culture.

DAY 2 - CAIRO

Drive to Giza and tour the Pyramids. See the Great Pyramid, a royal burial

chamber and the Sphinx. You may purchase a ticket to enter the pyramid

if you wish. Then visit the museum of the Solar Boat, one of the most

amazing discoveries. Continue to Memphis, to tour the ancient capital of

Egypt. Lunch en route. Continue to Sakkara to see the first pyramid ever

built, the Step Pyramid. We continue and visit the Pyramids of Dashur,

the Red and Bent Pyramid, Return to Cairo and your hotel. The evening is

free. Bed & Breakfast

DAY 3 – CAIRO
Drive to the Egyptian Museum, Gaze at the priceless artifacts of Egypt, the

treasures of King Tut,  the extraordinary Mummies’ Room and so much more.

Then visit Old Cairo and walk back in time, visiting the Old Coptic Church and

the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Lunch en route.  Continue to the Mohamad Ali

Mosque and the streets of Khan el Khalili Bazaar, great for bargain shopping.

Return to your hotel. The evening is free. B&B

DAY 4 – ASWAN
After breakfast, take a tour of Aswan High Dam, and the granite quarries to see

how the obelisks of Egypt were made. Continue by a short boat ride to the Temple

of Philae considered to be the most beautiful temple in Egypt. Continue sailing

around Kitchner Island to view the mausoleum of the Aga Khan. Return to your

hotel for a free afternoon and evening. B&B.

DAY 5 – ASWAN
OPTIONAL TOUR. We fly  to Abu Simbel and tour the temples of Ramesses and his queen Nefertari. These temples must be seen to be appreciated. We return to Aswan and check

into our hotel. B&B

DAY 6 – LUXOR
Drive north along the Nile to Kom Ombo and visit the Temple of Sobek,

dedicated to the crocodile God. Continue to Edfu and visit the Temple of Horus

dedicated to the Sun God. Continue to Luxor where we check into the hotel.

The evening is free. B&B

DAY 7 – LUXOR
After breakfast, cross to the West Bank of the Nile and visit the wondrous Valley

of the Kings, Gaze at the solid gold coffin of King Tut. Next, visit the Temple of

Queen Hatshepsut, the only female Pharaoh of Egypt. Next we visit the famed

Colossi of Memnon the giant statues of Amenhotep the 111. Return to the hotel.

The evening is free You might enjoy the sound and light show at Karnak Temple.

DAY 8 – CAIRO
Today we visit the Temple of Karnak,  the largest temple complex in Egypt. Wonder

how they built this architectural masterpiece. Next we proceed to the graceful

Temple of Luxor Both temples are masterpieces of New Kingdom architecture.

In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to Cairo where you are met and transfer to your hotel. B&B

DAY 9 –
This morning you are transferred to the airport for your flight home. B.
