9 DAY TOUR OF ITALY

DAY 1 – ROME / NAPLES / POMPEII / SORRENTO: Breakfast in hotel. After leaving Rome the coach will take the “Sun Route” motorway driving south through the regions of Lazio and Campania. Upon arrival in Naples, short panoramic tour of the city. Arrival in Pompeii, lunch and visit of the excavations of this Roman city, destroyed by the eruption of the Vesuvius in 79 A.D. After visit, continue to Sorrento, famous summer resort. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 2 – SORRENTO: Breakfast. Free day to explore the old quarter of this town, the Cathedral and the
Corso Italia, the main street of the Peninsula and the Piazza Tasso with its outdoor cafe’s. Dinner and
overnight in hotel.

DAY 3 – SORRENTO / CAPRI: After Breakfast, We board the boat for the Island of Capri. Upon Arrival at
the Port of Marina Grande, we depart for the visit of the Blue Grotto Lunch. Overnight in the island hotel.

DAY 4 – CAPRI: Breakfast. Morning free to explore this beautiful island that has been also been renamed the
“Garden of Eden,” where the sun is always shining. Possibility to visit Anacapri, situated on the slopes of
Monte Solario, The Port of Marina, I Faraglioni: these impressive rocks that look like lighthouses, or the
famous Villa Jovis, a residence built for the Emperor Tiberius. Return to the hotel.

DAY 5 – CAPRI / SORRENTO / POSITANO: Breakfast. Departure by boat for Sorrento where, upon arrival,
you will take the coach and be transferred to Positano, driving along the most famous road of the Campania
region: the Amalfi coast road. Accommodation at the hotel and overnight. .

DAY 6 – POSITANO: Breakfast. Free day to explore this ancient fishermen’s village with its cubic white houses.
Today one of the most well-known summer resorts of the whole peninsula. On foot, take the Via Pasitea which
will bring you to the heart of town with its narrows streets, terraces and gardens overlooking the Bay. Return to the
hotel.

DAY 7 – POSITANO / NAPLES: Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to Naples, situated along a lovely Bay, a horizon
bounded by Posillipo, the islands, the Sorrento Peninsula and Mount Vesuvius. Overnight in Naples.

DAY 8 – NAPLES: Breakfast in hotel. Morning free to explore the center of this city of palaces, churches and
monasteries. In the afternoon visit the Cathedral, the Royal Palace, The Gallery Umberto, the San Carlo’s
Theatre, Posillipo and Piazza del Gesu. Return to the hotel.

DAY 9 – NAPLES: Breakfast in hotel, end of our services.
