Thursday. Athens-Olympia Departure for your 4 day Classical Tour. Short stop in Corinth Canal visit the Theatre of Epidaurus then proceed to the town of Nauplion (short stop) drive to Mycenae and visit the Archaeological Site and Tomb of Agamemnon. Then depart for Olympia through central Peloponnese.Overnight in Olympia. Friday. Olympia-Delphi Visit the Archaeological Site of Olympian Zeus ,the Ancient Stadium and the Archaeological Museum. Then drive to Delphi, overnight. Saturday. Delphi-Kalambaka Visit the Archaeological Site and Museum of Delphi.Then drive for Kalambaka, overnight. Sunday. Meteora-Athens Visit Meteora the ageless monasteries and speciments of Byzantine art. Early evening return to Athens. Monday. Athens-Piraeus-Myconos Our friendly staff will transfer you to Piraeus, to embark your luxury cruise ship. First port of call is the island of Myconos. |
Tuesday. Kusadasi-Patmos First port of call is Kusadasi, with Ephessus, one of the most complete ancient cities ever excavated. Then on to the island of Patmos with a monastery and the Grotto of St. John, where he lived and recorded the Book of Revelation. Wednesday. Rhodes Early morning on to the magnificent island of Rhodes, the medieval city and the famous Acropolis of Lindos. Thursday. Heraklion-Santorini First port of call is Heraklion. The place of Knossos, the center of the Minoan Civilization. Continue in the afternoon to the most breath taking island, Santorini, believed to be the lost continent of the Atlantic. Friday. Piraeus Disembarkation after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your return flight home. |
